It was great to hear Jay being interviewed by Justin Webb on BBC Radio 4 Today show this morning. Jay spoke of his passions for the art of traditional rhetoric, originally practised by Aristotle, being utilised more amongst English schools.  Students in the USA are widely taught this important linguistic tool as the American curriculum undergoes a huge revival in the art of rhetoric.

Jay talks of the benefits children gain when taught the tools of rhetoric. Within a modern context, the tools are not only beneficial to navigate through difficult situations, but also allow us to be "innoculated" against forms of manipulation widely used in politics and other situations we find ourselves evaluating on the spot.

He talks of the new book, "How To Argue With A Cat: A Human's Guide To The Art Of Persuasion", which has been widely requested by American schools to be a simple introduction to the art of rhetoric. Hearing these calls, Jay has readily obliged!

Out tomorrow, the book is already smashing sales and fast becoming No 1 across different categories on Amazon.

If you can argue with a cat, you can argue with anyone.
